Contemporary sculpture Vermont flood clay roofing paper movement Tropical Storm Irene
White River
Steel, roofing paper, flood clay, fabric, sinker
60 x 18 x 18 inches

I used rescued work of mine from the flood of Tropical Storm Irene for this sculpture. Flood clay from the White River in Vermont embedded itself into the small forms made of roofing paper. This piece has a sense of contained movement.
